A Heritage in Harmony: For generations, the local people have lived as one with the tides. Their life of quiet skill: catching fish with hand-woven traps, gathering crabs by hand, and navigating the narrow mangrove channels as naturally as breathing.

  • 09:30 - Arrive at Cồn Chim Ecozone Stop at a local fishing house.
  • Receive your SUP board and safety instructions. (Optional)
  • Start SUP rowing in the mangrove forest
  • “Glide Through Quiet Waters. Touch the Heart of a Living Mangrove Forest.”

  • In case guests do not like SUP rowing we do all the activities by small boat, guests stay on boat and go around the lagoon.

  • Use traditional fishing traps
  • Catch prawns, fish, crabs
  • After that, the boat will stop at a local aquaculture area where prawns, crabs, and fish are raised. Here, you will learn how local people farm using the traditional “semi-wild” method, which allows them to work in harmony with nature. With this approach, fishermen can raise and harvest seafood for up to nine months a year-without using machinery - while still preserving the natural ecosystem.
  • 11:30 - Clean-up & have lunchWash your hands, change clothes, and have lunch with seafood.

  • Guests are kindly asked not to use drones or flycams, following Vietnamese regulations.
  • Cồn Chim gets its name from the flocks of birds that live and rest on its sandy islet. These birds usually return in the late afternoon, so travelers visiting in the morning may not see many of them.
  • Some bird species move in large flocks, while others travel alone, so spotting them also depends on a bit of luck.
  • Because all the birds here live completely in the wild, their appearance—both in location and timing—depends entirely on nature. For this reason, there may be trips where guests do not see any birds, and we kindly ask for your understanding.

CHILDREN POLICY AND SURCHARGE:

  • Under 5 years old: Free of charge (100%).
  • From 6 to 9 years old: 50% of the adult tour price.
  • From 10 years old and above: Charged as an adult.

Is SUP rowing mandatory?

No. SUP rowing is optional. If guests do not want to row a SUP board, they can still join the experience by small boat and enjoy the mangrove scenery comfortably.

Is this tour suitable for beginners or non-swimmers?

Yes. This tour is suitable for beginners because safety instructions are provided before the activity. Guests who are not confident with SUP can choose the small boat option instead.

I'm a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

Yes, there is a single supplement for solo travellers. Our private tours can be arranged for any group size; however, departures are confirmed for groups of 2 guests. If you’re travelling alone, you can either pay the single supplement.
